Israeli company Elbit Systems Ltd. announced on January 6, 2025, the signing of a contract valued at approximately $60 million to supply its advanced Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) to a European NATO member state. As part of the contract, Elbit Systems will deliver its modular ReDrone solution, a cutting-edge technology designed to address the challenges posed by drones in various operational scenarios. The ReDrone system integrates multiple advanced subsystems, including the DAiR radar, SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) sensors, electronic warfare (EW) countermeasures, and electro-optical (EO) payloads capable of day and night operation. Together, these components provide a detailed and cohesive aerial picture while offering electronic attack capabilities to effectively neutralize threats.
ReDrone’s modular design, multi-sensor capabilities, and multi-mission functionality set it apart.
