AL TAIF, known for its comprehensive lifecycle support for land platforms, and FNSS, specializing in designing and producing wheeled and tracked armored combat vehicles, will work together to upgrade a specific fleet of IFVs currently in service with the UAE Armed Forces. The collaboration aims to bring these vehicles up to modern technological standards, ensuring their enhanced performance and operational capabilities on the battlefield.

The modernization efforts will focus on improving the IFVs' mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and equipping them with state-of-the-art technology for better reliability, durability, and combat readiness.

Together, we aim to integrate advanced technologies that will not only extend the lifespan of the UAE Armed Forces' armored fleet but also enhance their overall mission effectiveness. This cooperation underscores AL TAIF’s commitment to providing cutting-edge defense solutions and ensuring that the UAE Armed Forces are equipped with the best-in-class systems to meet evolving operational demands.”

Kadir Nail Kurt, General Manager and CEO of FNSS, highlighted FNSS’s success in completing modernization programs for various military forces, including those in Türkiye, the USA, GCC countries, and Southeast Asia. “FNSS has developed a reputation for delivering vehicle sustainability programs tailored to the specific needs and specifications of military users. Our solutions significantly enhance the reliability and durability of vehicles, extending their service life and ensuring they remain vital assets for modern combat,” said Kurt.

The partnership between AL TAIF and FNSS is not limited to the current modernization project. Both parties will explore additional cooperation opportunities to further support the UAE Armed Forces. This ongoing collaboration reinforces EDGE’s commitment to enhancing the technological superiority of the UAE's defense capabilities.

With this initiative, the UAE Armed Forces can expect a fleet of IFVs that is not only technologically advanced but also capable of meeting the increasing demands of modern warfare, ensuring they maintain a strong operational edge in any future conflict.
