FEINDEF 2025: PARS III 6x6 Armoured Vehicle Combines MRAP-Level Protection with Modern Tactical Mobility.
At the FEINDEF 2025 defense exhibition in Madrid, Turkish manufacturer FNSS Savunma Sistemleri unveils the PARS III 6x6, a wheeled armoured combat vehicle designed to meet the operational demands of modern armed forces. The vehicle focuses on mobility, protection, payload capacity, and scalability, while incorporating contemporary armoured vehicle technologies.

The PARS III 6x6 has a combat weight of 25 tonnes. It is powered by a water-cooled diesel engine paired with a fully automatic transmission, allowing for a maximum road speed of 100 km/h. Its internal architecture and balanced axle load distribution enable high manoeuvrability, even on soft or uneven terrain. The vehicle can tackle 60% gradients, 30% side slopes, vertical obstacles up to 0.7 meters high, and trenches 1.75 meters wide.
All axles are powered in a 6x6 configuration and can be locked when required. A central tire inflation system allows the driver to adjust tire pressure based on terrain conditions. The front and rear axle steering system gives the PARS III 6x6 the smallest turning radius in its class, with a steer-by-wire system that gradually reduces the angle of the rear wheels and locks them at certain speeds. This, combined with an ABS system and engine brake, enhances safety at higher speeds.
The two-person driver's compartment is located at the front of the vehicle and offers over 180 degrees of horizontal visibility, supported by large periscopes and thermal imaging cameras at the front and rear to improve situational awareness. The interior is configured to accommodate nine personnel, with dedicated seating, weapon holders, tailored lighting, and protective features. The vehicle offers an operational range of over 800 km, supported by explosion- and puncture-resistant fuel tanks and an armoured emergency reserve tank.
Protection levels on the PARS III 6x6 can be adjusted to user requirements through its modular hull and armour system. The hull shape, underbody structure, and mine-resistant seats are designed to provide high levels of protection against mines, reaching standards similar to those of MRAP vehicles while preserving the combat and mobility characteristics of contemporary armoured combat platforms.
An integrated air conditioning system maintains an internal temperature of 25°C, even in extreme desert environments. The modular subsystem connections and power transmission layout facilitate maintenance and component replacement. The powerpack can be removed and reinstalled in under an hour, enabling engine changes in the field without the need for heavy logistical support.
With the PARS III 6x6, FNSS expands its portfolio of wheeled armoured vehicles to meet a broad range of mission requirements, including combat, patrol, and support roles. Based in Ankara and operating in partnership with Nurol Holding, the company emphasizes modularity and structural resilience in its platform designs. The international presence of the PARS III 6x6 reflects Turkey’s broader strategy to expand its footprint in the global armoured vehicle market, targeting armed forces seeking protected, mobile, and adaptable platforms for both conventional and asymmetric operations.
