The KamAZ-43269 "Vystrel" is now equipped with electronic warfare (EW) systems, anti-drone protection, and additional armor made from conveyor belt materials. These improvements reflect the evolving nature of modern battlefields, where combating electronic threats and drones has become a critical focus.
The vehicle features a distinct internal configuration, divided into a motor compartment and a combined section for the crew and dismounted troops. The structure of the "Vystrel" includes rear and side doors, as well as hatches designed for easy access by personnel and mechanics. These additions aim to provide greater flexibility and security for personnel in combat situations.
The added anti-drone protection plays a crucial role in enabling the vehicle to defend against the growing use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in conflict zones. Furthermore, the integration of electronic warfare systems enhances the "Vystrel’s" ability to disrupt enemy communications and control systems, a key asset in maintaining battlefield superiority.
The KamAZ-43269 "Vystrel" stands out due to its technical specifications, which combine ruggedness, mobility, and the ability to operate in modern combat conditions. Its weight of 10.8 tons makes it a vehicle that is light enough to offer a degree of mobility while being armored enough to withstand impacts and provide effective protection for its crew.
In terms of crew capacity, this armored vehicle can transport a driver, a gunner, and four infantrymen, making it a suitable transport for rapid deployment and intervention missions. The interior space has been optimized to provide a secure and functional working environment, with protected seats for the crew members and dismounted troops.
The "Vystrel’s" armor is designed to provide protection against small arms fire and shell fragments, thanks to its BR5-level armor. This level of protection is suited to the threats the vehicle may encounter, such as small-caliber bullets, artillery fragments, or light mines. This armor thus strikes a good balance between protection and weight, allowing the vehicle to remain agile while offering sufficient security for its occupants.
With a maximum speed of 100 km/h, the KamAZ-43269 "Vystrel" can move quickly across various types of terrain, including those that are often difficult to access in conflict zones. This ability to reach relatively high speeds compared to other armored vehicles allows it to perform rapid tactical movements, a crucial advantage for reconnaissance or quick-attack missions.
Its operational range of 1,100 kilometers is another important asset, allowing it to cover long distances without requiring constant refueling. This ability to remain operational for extended periods without needing resupply is a key factor in long-duration operations or in areas where supply lines are vulnerable or difficult to access.
This modernization highlights the increasing importance of protecting military personnel from electronic threats and drones, further strengthening the "Vystrel" as a versatile and reliable platform on today's battlefield.
