The commander of the military region of Siberia, the general Alexander Postnikov, was named commander-in-chief of the Army, to replace the general Vladimir Boldyrev, announced Wednesday the Russian Ministry of Defense. This last “was put at the retirement after having reached the age limit of its rank”, specifies the ministry. At the post of commander of the military region of Siberia, the Postnikov general was replaced by the general Vladimir Tchirkine.
