will deliver to Kazakhstan air defence ground-to-air missile
systems S-300.

Russia
will deliver to Kazakhstan air defence missile systems S-300,
the contracts are being prepared, announced December 8,
2010, the spokesperson of the Ministry, Irina Kovaltchouk.

“During
the meeting, Kazakhstan and Russia discussed the possibility
of delivering Russian S-300 ground-to-air missile systems
to Kazakhstan in order to reinforce the protection of
common airspace. Currently, the development of the contracts
is in hand”, she indicated at the end of the meeting
of the Russian Minister of Defense Anatoli Serdioukov
with its Kazakh counterpart Adilbek Djaksibekov, currently
in visit in Moscow.
