| Every
year the Dutch Ministry of Defense organizes the Land Forces
Open days. This day is devoted to a presentation of the
knowledge and equipment of the Land Forces of Dutch Army.
It is also an event which is used to promote the army within
the framework of recruitment near the young population of
the country, and to inform the people of Netherlands about
the activities of the armed forces, like the international
missions. Each day is animated by a great dynamic demonstration
with all the equipment, vehicles and combat helicopters
of the Land Forces of Dutch Army. Before 2011, this event
will proceed every two years, in alternation with the Marine
Days. |
