Russian engineer troops demonstrate Uran-6 and Uran-14 unmanned ground robots at Army-2015. | |||
At the range of Alabino near Moscow, in the framework of the International military and technical forum “Army-2015”, combat capabilities of the Engineer Troops were demonstrated for the audience and specialists. Army-2015 was the first edition of the International Military-Technical Forum which was held in Moscow from the 16 to 19 June 2015.

In front of spectator stands, a tactical episode will be played by checking the section of track on presence of mine barriers with the use of multifunctional robotic mine clearance and firefighting complex Uran-6 (MRTK-R), Uran-14 (MRTK-P), engineering reconnaissance vehicle IMR.
During the show, the IMR will make the passage at the dam to ensure the continued movement of troops. This engineering obstacle-clearing vehicle is designed to support troops’ moving through zones of destruction, including radioactive and chemically contaminated areas. Engineering obstacle-clearing vehicle has a telescopic boom with manipulator, equipped with a universal working body. Robotic complex Uran-6 is designed for making gaps in anti-personnel and anti-tank fields, as well as for continuous cleaning of the area from explosive objects. This robot’s mass is 6 tons, speed is up to 15 km/h. Uran-6 is equipped with a set of attachments consisting of dumps and trawls of various types.Complex Uran-14 is designed to put out fires on explosive objects. |
