Russia will not provide ground-to-air missiles systems S-300 to Iran, indicated this 28 October 2009 the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergueï Ivanov at the conclusion of a meeting of the commission on the modernization of the Russian economy near the president of the country. Before, Russia had sold in Iran ground-to-air systems Tor-M1, which makes it possible to protect the military sites and civilians against attacks of cruise missiles, bombs, planes, helicopters, unmanned aircraft and attacks weapons.
