Colt Defense unveils its new Colt Modular CM901TM multi-calibre modular weapon at IDEX 2011.

This specially designed Colt weapon provides the Military with a new 7.62x51mm capability with a universal lower receiver that is also configurable with the proven Colt 5.56mm family of weapons. With no special tools, the individual user may convert a single lower receiver into multiple caliber, barrel length and operating system configurations. The LE901 is the weapon for any mission.
