Adding color symbology to the Day/Night ANVIS/HUD®
helps pilots differentiate between tactical display symbols.
The improved ANVIS/HUD® system design takes into account
customer feedback and lessons learned from hundreds of thousands
of operational flight hours accumulated by Elbit Systems’
ANVIS/HUD® systems in the U.S. and in other countries
around the world. The system provides improved safety and
situational awareness while adding the benefits of color
symbology and display.
