Tactical
Headset
Elno has developed a new tactical headsets using Sound Bone
Conduction Technology for both the earphone and the microphone.
It is intended to be used by personnel who operate in noisy
environments and wants to preserve a great freedom of movement,
like infantrymen, firemen and Special Forces.
It leaves the user’s ears free to listen to external
sources of sound.
In
loud background noise, the operator can wear ear plugs to
protect himself, without any degradation in hearing intelligibility.
Highly comfortable, they can be interfaced with all radio
sets (HF, VHF, UHF) and are compatible with a broad range
of equipments, including combat helmets, hoods, NBC masks. |

Wireless
system
A common issue in today's modern armies is to allow soldiers
to keep access to the onboard communication system when
going out of armored vehicles.
ELNO has developed a system allowing us to add this function
to any intercom:
- On one side, a (master) wireless box is plugged on the
intercom in place of a headset, and seen as such by the
intercom.
- On the other side, a (slave) wireless box is connected
to this headset and seen as an intercom.
This system allows the user to move freely around the vehicle
(up to 300m) without loosing the communication with the
inside of the vehicle.
Moreover, one master box can handle up to 4 or 7 slave boxes
(depending on the version of the system), thus allowing
to increase the number of users of an intercom. In that
case, the system works in conference mode, allowing all
users to talk and listen at the same time.

New
ANR helmet
A common issue in today's modern armies is to allow soldiers
to keep access to the onboard communication system when
going out of armored vehicles.
ELNO’s DH586 MKII Active Noise Reduction tank helmet
is our second generation of communication equipment.
Building on more than fifteen years of experience providing
ANR tank helmet to armies, our new equipment allows crewman
to improve mission effectiveness. It is generally accepted
that high levels of noise are inherent in modern armored
vehicles not only in tracked vehicles but also in wheeled
vehicles.
The new ELNO combat vehicle crewman helmet uses proven ANR
technology that increases communication capabilities by
providing enhanced acoustic protection and offering talk-through
functionality.
