Within
the framework of the NATO operation Unified Protector
and coordinated action with British helicopters, French
air mobile group, supported by navy ships of the French
Navy, treated twenty military targets on the ground In

The
engagement of combat helicopters is complementary to air
and naval means already engaged by the coalition forces.
They make it possible to increase the pressure on Kaddafi
forces who threaten the civil population.
The
French Navy ship Tonnerre it started from Toulon (France)
on May 17th. Tigre and Gazelle attack helicopters were
embarked for carried out operations in Libya. Since yesterday
evening, they were engaged in the Unified Protector operations
in Libya.
