According to official agency KCNA, the government of
Pyongyang indicated that it will carry out an all-out
war by transforming the Seoul capital into a sea of fire,
in reprisals against the American/South Korean military
exercises which should begin this Monday, February 28,
2011.
Approximately 200.000 South Korean and 12.800 American
soldiers will take part in these military exercises, that
the North Korea qualifies preparation with a war. The
tension continues to climb in the area after several threats
coming from the North Korea.
These new threats contrast with the recent talks between
the two Koreas, which had not succeeded after North-Korea
put a term at a preparatory meeting on February 9th, 2011.
South Korea took again the sending of propaganda beyond
the border North-Korean, which irritates the North Korea.
This one threatened to open fire if propaganda continued.
Tensions on the divided peninsula rose to the highest
level in years after 46 sailors were killed in an attack
in March on a South Korean naval vessel. North Korea,
which has denied responsibility, shelled the southern
island of Yeonpyeong in November, killing four people.
