Russian
fighter aircraft come back to the Paris Air Show with the
Sukhoi SU-30. |

Organizers
of the International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition,
Paris Air Show 2011 are confirmed the come back of Russian
industry with the combat aircraft Sukhoi SU-30, which is
considered of one of the best modern fighters produced for
export.

The
Sukhoi Su-30 (NATO reporting name Flanker-C) is a twin-engine,
two-seat military aircraft developed by Russia's Sukhoi
Aviation Corporation. It is a multirole fighter for all-weather,
air-to-air and air-to-surface deep interdiction missions.
One Su-30 will be there for both static and flight display
purposes.
At the same time, the russian aviation industry will present
its amphibious aircraft BE-200, designed by the Beriev
Aircraft Company and manufactured by Irkut for fire-fighting
with a 12,000 litres water tank.

The Paris Air Show is a commercial air show, organised by
the French aerospace industry's body the Groupement des
Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales
(GIFAS) whose main purpose is to demonstrate military and
civilian aircraft to potential customers. It is one of the
most prestigious in the world; traditionally, some major
sales contracts are announced during the show as part of
the corporate communication of the manufacturers. All major
international manufacturers, as well as the military forces
of several countries, attend the Paris Air Show or Le Bourget. |
