At
Milipol 2011, the Worldwide Exhibition of Internal State Security, the
French Company Renault Trucks Defense presents a new security and public
order truck, the MIDS - Midlum Security and Public Order Vehicle. |

The MIDS - Midlum Security and Public Order Vehicle is especially designed for public order and internal security missions. Offering a high degree of armored protection in its category, it carries up to 12 police officers in an urban and rural setting. The technical characteristics allow the vehicle to be customized and equipped with specialized equipment required by the customers. The MIDS in 4x2 or 4x4 version offers a 20m³ internal volumes. It has a 16t GVW and offers a 3 tons payload. The vehicle can run at a maximum speed of 100 km/h. The MIDS has a B6
protection. It is exhibited a MILIPOL 2011 with a fire extinguishing system,
a Light bar (Police) with siren, the Public address system radio and fume
extractor. |
