The
transfer of the necessary technologies is being realized
within the framework of the agreement reached with Azerbaijan.
The
company said the sniper rifle to be produced in MKEK facilities
will differ a little from the original. The weapon will
be improved with the participation of Turkish and Azerbaijani
experts. It is planned to reduce the weight of the weapon,
extend barrel life, facilitate its usage.
The
rifles to be produced in Turkey will be first offered
to Turkish Armed Forces, as well as to foreign customers
within the framework of the cooperation of MKEK –
Defense Industry Ministry.
