BAE Systems will showcase a full range of defence and security solutions at AUSA 2012.
BAE Systems will showcase a full range of affordable solutions at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C., Oct. 22-24, 2012. During the event, BAE Systems will conduct several media briefings on significant programs and capabilities at its booth, #1103. Briefings currently scheduled during the show are:

Monday, October 22

11:30: Up-close and Personal on Hybrid Ground Combat Vehicle Progress.

BAE Systems is one of two defense companies under contract with the U.S. Army to develop the next infantry fighting vehicle – the Ground Combat Vehicle (GCV) – and is making significant progress on the program. During this briefing, reporters will have the opportunity to see first-hand the progress occurring at BAE Systems’ GCV testing laboratory in Santa Clara, California through a virtual tour. Additionally, reporters will learn about how our team is testing and evaluating the fuel-saving and performance-enhancing hybrid electric system being incorporated into BAE Systems’ version of the GCV.

14:00: Tracked Vehicle Leader BAE Systems Brings ABCT Vehicles to AUSA.

As one the world’s largest tracked combat vehicle providers, BAE Systems provides four out of the five Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) vehicle families, including the M88A2 HERCULES Recovery vehicle and the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), which will both be featured on our stand during the AUSA Exposition. Join us as our subject matter expert provides program updates on the M88A2, Bradley, AMPV and Paladin Integrated Management (PIM).

BAE Systems is showcasing the newly launched PHOENIX™ family of radios, created to deliver secure and reliable data services via modern networking waveforms. BAE Systems recently responded to the U.S. Army’s request for a non-developmental mid-tier networking vehicular radio (MNVR) solution with its two-channel PHOENIX-SC radio, which meets or exceeds all specifications.Today’s complex battlefield environments require a lightweight radio with robust anti-jam capabilities than can securely connect the upper tactical network at brigade and battalion to those at company and platoon echelon platforms.
