Designed
for the signal and intelligence defence and security market, CommsAudit
has designed a Narrowband Receiver, the CA7708. At RadCom 2012 (Hamburg,
Germany) Dr Iain Scott presented the need for more Narrowband receivers,
highlighting the specific capabilities of the CA7708 as an ideal replacement
and upgrade for current HF Receivers, both in terms of surveillance and
space saving. CommsAudit will be demonstrating their Narrowband Receivers
at Defence Services Asia, held in Kuala Lumpa (Malaysia) from 16 –
19 April 2012, on their stand 4P17. |

Current
Wideband Receivers can process the entire HF spectrum digitally, however
there is the risk of losing “small signals”, which can require
analogue filtering. CommsAudit has developed a means to address both these
issues.
Mark Minall, Business Development and Sales & Marketing Manager said: “We’ve seen some significant interest and uptake in our Receivers from differing Ministries of Defence around the world, and have every confidence that the CA7708 can meet the modern military’s need for a Receiver that delivers while being smaller than its competitors. It’s also important to note, that this is not just a trading down on size, but also a significant improvement of service – and one which we hope will prove attractive to the Asian defence market.” |
