Indonesia will purchase new military equipment as howitzer CAESAR, Astros II MLRS and AH-64. | |||
Indonesia
provides more information about its acquisition planning for military
equipment and vehicles. The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) is
expected to receive more military hardware in the future. It has been
confirmed by the United States Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA)
that 8 AH-64D Block III Longbow Apache attack helicopter will be acquired
by Indonesia. |

The 155mm self-propelled howitzer CAESAR is currently deployed in Afghanistan with the French Armed Forces. |

The
Indonesian Army is also set to order Nexter
Caesar 155mm self-propelled howitzer as well as ASTROS MRLS.
Two artillery battalions of the Indonesian army could be equipped with
this type of equipment. |

Astros II MLRS Multiple Launch Rocket System is in service with the Malaysian army. |
