New modern Iranian armoured vehicles were tested during recent military exercises in East of Iran.

A senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said that the IRGC has successfully tested its latest home-produced military tools and equipment as well as the capabilities of its armored units during the recent wargames in Eastern Iran and attained positive results.

Iran armed forces unveiled two new armoured vehicle during the last military exercises in East of Iran, at the left the "Sheni-dar" and a the right the "Sarir".
     

The latest achievements in area of armored systems and equipment were successfully tested in the Shohaday-e Vahdat drills, Lieutenant Commander of IRGC Ground Force General Abdollah Araqi announced on Tuesday. Iranian armed forces tested two new armoured vehicles, the Sheni-dar and the Sarir during the last military exercises in the East of Iran.

He described the wargames as positive, and said that the IRGC forces have been able to obtain all the objectives defined for the drills.

The IRGC Ground Force ended a series of military exercises in Iran's Eastern regions on Monday.

The drills, codenamed as Shohaday-e Vahdat (Martyrs of Unity), were carried out in Khaf general zone, East of Iran.

During the main phase of the drills on Monday, armored units and commandos of the IRGC attacked positions of the hypothetical enemy in five phases and hit enemy with heavy fire.

Speaking to reporters, General Hamid Sarkheili, the spokesman of Shohaday-e Vehdar wargames, said on Sunday that in the second day of the drills, the Ground Force units of the IRGC exercised asymmetric tactics.

Sarkheili said that part of the special and professional units of the IRGC ground force successfully displayed asymmetric warfare tactics and techniques with full coordination and preparedness.

He added that the IRGC's cavalry units exercised new asymmetric warfare tactics in the initial phase of the drills today.
