military says it has successfully test-fired the cruise missile Hatf-7
(Babur) capable of carrying a nuclear warhead on Monday, September 17,
2012. The launch, the site of which was not disclosed,
was made from a mobile launcher according to media reports. |

army statement says the Hatf-VII or Babur missile, which has a range of
700 kilometers (435 miles), was test-fired from a specially equipped vehicle
in an undisclosed location Monday. The statement says the missile has
stealth features and can fly very close to the ground. |
