Syrian government forces continue bombardment and use of tanks to annihilating rebellion 2302121.

In another assault in Homs, three civilians were killed Tuesday when their car came under the fire of armed men on the road between Homs and Sukkara area, said al-Watan, adding that another two children were killed by sniper shots in Karam Allouz neighborhood.

On Wednesday, February 22, 2012, two foreign journalists were killed when a bomb hit a media center in the Syrian city of Homs. They are Marie Colvin an American working for Britain’s Sunday Times, and French photographer Remi Ochlik. At least two other foreign journalists have been wounded, one in very serious condition.

The Red Cross said it was in talks with the Syrian authorities and rebels to halt the violence so it can deliver aid amid calls to allow women and children out of the besieged city of Homs in central Syria.

The Syrian government forces continue to deploy tanks in the neighbourhood of Erbeen, near Damascus. The latest bombardments of the city of Homs, and the use of force clearly show the position of the Syrian Government to not succumb to international pressure, and take back control of the entire country by annihilating the rebellion.
