AMZ showcases its new BOBR concept at MSPO 2013
Polish Manufacturer of armoured and special utility vehicles, AMZ, is showcasing a new vehicle concept: The the 4x4 BOBR light armoured reconnaissance transporter.
     
At MSPO 2013, International Defense Exhibition in Poland, AMZ unveiled a new concept vehicle, the BOBR. This vehicle conceived for speed is a new lightweigt transport vehicle amphibious as well as its cousin the 8x8 Hipopotam.The AMZ BOBR at MSPO 2013.
     

With the BOBR AMZ hopes to pleases those who seek lightweight and speed. The BOBR can go as fast as 120km/h and weight only 10t. For the moment specifications are not frozen. The actual on road range is 650km with a goal of 1000km and an off road range og 300km and a 500km planned for the production model. The payload do not plan to move and stays at 2000kg while the weight of the vehicle will go up to 12t.

For the protection the BOBR can be fitted with a STANAG Level 3 armour. The exposed version at MSPO (see picture) is at STANAG Level 2.
