At
IDEX 2013, the International Defence Exhibition in Abu Dhabi (United Arab
Emirates), the Ukrainian Company PJSC “AutoKrAZ” has unveiled
the new KRAZ-ASV/APC Armored Personnel Carrier made in partnership with
Ares Security Vehicles LLC (Dubai, UAE). Acronym KrAZ-ASV/APC consists
of the names of cooperating companies. APC marking (Armored Personal Carrier)
defines the family and armored vehicle purpose. |

| The new KrAZ-ASV/APC
(Armored Personnel Carrier, nicknamed Panthera K-10Cmd) is built based
on a chassis and cab of 4x4 KrAZ-5233HE truck. This multirole vehicle is used for carrying personnel of military units and their fire support, for the purpose it can be provided with state-of-the-art weapon systems, active and passive protection systems. APC demilitarized version can be used for carrying personnel of peace-support missions and other persons in conflict zones. Orders for this vehicle were placed well ahead of the day it was displayed at the exhibition. The first days of the exhibition confirmed expectations of manufacturers for the vehicle to be demanded by military men and peacekeepers all over the world. |
