FN
Herstal MAG 7.62mm machine guns will be mounted on the French
Army's existing vehicles and will replace the existing AN F1 machine guns
in the infantry units. The contract includes the manufacture and supply of more than 10,000 FN MAG machine guns over a period of several years, and will also provide transformation kits to enable rapid conversion into dismounted weapons. With 200,000 units manufactured and adopted by over 90 countries around the globe (all climate types), the FN MAG® machine gun is the unbeatable worldwide reference in its category in terms of accuracy and reliability.
