Iranian Army has taken delivery of new ballistic missiles Naziat-10 and rocket Fajr-5.
Commander of Ground Forces of the Iranian army, Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan, announced on Sunday, July 21, 2013, that the army has inducted the "Naziat-10" and "Fajr-5" missiles. Both missiles were successfully test-fired in March.

The Fadjr-5 is an Iranian made 333mm multiple rocket launcher system.
     

Iran has produced new generation of "Naziat" ballistic missiles, the commander of the Ground Forces of the Iranian army, Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan said, Tasnim news agency reported.

"Naziat 10" is a short range missile, capable of hitting targets as far as 130 kilometers and can be launched from mobile platforms.

"Fajr" is an artillery rocket developed by Iran in the 1990s. The system is a part of the "Fajr" family of rockets. Pourdastan said the two missiles would significantly increase the army’s combat force and would be used in military exercises in the near future.

Iranian State TV IRIB reported on March that Iran has successfully test-fired "Naziat-10" and "Fajr-5" missiles.
