Iran plans to display its new achievements in the missiles and space industries in the next few months, a senior Iranian defense official announced on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Addressing the closing ceremony of the Iranian and Omani armies' Quran contests, Deputy Defense Minister for Coordination General Nasrallah Ezzati said the latest products of the Iranian defense industries will be unveiled in the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21 - September 22).
Last week, Iran has unveiled the quadruple missile-launcher Soheil.

"A major part of these achievements pertain to the aerospace, missile and space fields and they will be displayed from Khordad 3 (May 24, marking the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr city from Iraqi occupation during the eight-year Iraqi imposed war) to 31 Mordad (August 22, the National Day of the Defense Industries)," Ezzati added.

Last Saturday, the Iranian Army Ground Force displayed three new products on the occasion of the National Army Day.

In a ceremony attended by Commander of the Army Ground Force Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan, Fadak wireless radio, Soheil missile launcher and a T72 tank simulator were unveiled.

The Iranian Army has recently test-fired different types of newly-developed missiles and torpedoes and tested a large number of its home-made weapons, tools and equipments, including submarines, military ships, artillery, choppers, aircraft, UAVs and air defense and electronic systems, during massive military drills.
