The joint venture has been created according to the agreement of the heads of the states of Kazakhstan and Turkey. The heads of the Ministries of Defence examined the site for the future industrial buildings and looked at the sample products of the facility. Adilbek Dzhaksybekov stressed the importance of the creation of the high quality technological defence-industrial facility in the capital of Kazakhstan. Kazakh share in the joint project will be 30% at the beginning, which will grow up to 67% during the next 5 years. The Chairman of the Board of JSC “National Company “Kazakhstan Engineering” Bolat Smagulov acquainted the heads of the Ministries of Defence with the list of products that will be produced by the new facility. Furthermore, technical maintenance and teaching of the personnel will be established at the site, too. The factory will have a high production capacity of the diverse range of electronic boards used in a lot of different machines (from submarines to space crafts), production of which is possible using only the most advanced special equipment. The next stage of the development of the facility will be the production of its own infrared lenses. The production, processing and coating of infrared lenses will be done at nano-level, and in this connection it will be one of the spheres of implementation of nanotechnologies. It is worth mentioning that this facility is going to be the first of its kind in the CIS, making products of such high quality. |
