Chinese Defense Company NORINCO unveils its new VP8 4x4 light armoured vehicle 0208135.

The VP8 is a 4x4 light armoured vehicle developed and manufactured by the Chinese Company Norinco. The VP8 is designed based on a technically mature cross-country military vehicle chassis.

The VP8 is equipped with weapons, air-conditioning, communications and fire extinguishing systems.

The hull of the VP8 is of all-welded steel construction, protecting the crew from small arms fire and shell splinters.

The VP8 is mainly intended for local wars including anti-riot, anti-terrorism, peacekeeping operations and urban warfare to safeguard internal security.
