The Turkish Company Otokar is preparing to build on the success of COBRA, which is currently operated in 15 countries around the world, with COBRA II.

Designed according to evolving needs and the demands of the existing users base spread over five continents, COBRA II has the same mobility with COBRA, but features a higher carrying capacity and a higher internal volume for various roles. Regarded as the integral part of the product family, COBRA II is introduced to the world for the first time in IDEF.

The Cobra II which is developed over existing Cobra vehicle is a modular platform with superior technical and tactical characteristics.

Besides outstanding mobility capability and 9 crew carrying capacity, the Cobra II provides protection, firepower and mission equipment for users at different types of missions. The vehicle provides an outmatched performance in a wide range of challenging terrains and climatic conditions.

The Cobra II is motorized with a 6 cylinders Diesel engine developing 281 hp. coupled to an automatic gearbox with 6 forward and 1 reverse speed. The Cobra II can run at a maximum road speed of 110 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 700 km.
