The Bastion Patsas is thus able to carry five men with a full range of equipment. It has a ring mount capable of mounting a 12.7 mm machine gun, and three weapon stations (two at the rear and one at the front) for light machine guns. The crew can rely on a high level of protection against mines, together with armour elements on the sides of the vehicle for protection against ballistic attack.

The vehicle’s high payloadcarrying capability (up to 3.5 tonnes) means that the crew can carry enough supplies and ammunition to conduct long endurance missions in desert areas.

The extraordinary mobility of the Bastion Patsas allows it to overcome a wide range of obstacles in all types of terrain. The vehicle is equipped with side reinforcements to protect its tyres, and the tyres are fitted with run-flat systems.

It should be noted that while Chad is our first customer for the Special Forces version of the Bastion, the armoured version of the vehicle, the Bastion APC, has already been sold to several countries.
