The performance of the new ReTWis 4.3 have been improved with optimized speed, energy-efficient embedded computer, exceptional robustness to cluttered environments and packed full of advanced features.

ReTWis 4.3 is a direct response to our customers' dreams," said Jan Mrkvica, Chief of R&D of Localization Systems Program. "The ReTWis 4.3 through-wall radar provides an impressive level of imaging power and reliability while simultaneously reducing the system weight, increasing battery life, and boosting software speed. Our expert team has included new spectacular features which again confirm the company’s position as the world leader in developing through-wall sensing technology."

ReTWis has been designed as a lightweight and completely portable device, which is extremely comfortable to hold. All ReTWis components (RF parts, signal processing unit, embedded computer, display, battery) are available built-in to a compact platform - Additional parts, e.g. PC or PDA, are not required to use the system.

New ultra low power computer and smart power management guarantee an uninterrupted operation for several hours on battery supplied (up to 9 hr with 14 Ah battery pack). If required, the battery pack can be replaced within seconds.

In general, modern urban areas represent complex electromagnetic environments with high level of interference and jamming, which may in extreme case degrade the accuracy and detection ability of UWB systems. ReTWis built-in Automatic Interference Estimation feature assists the user to uncover possible sources of interference.

ReTWis can store up to 600 minutes of recordings. The individual recordings are accessible as data files, which may be stored for later use. These files contain all measured data enabling to replay the recorded room activity exactly as during the real operation.

The ReTWis ultimate Remote Control solution enables the user to enjoy all ReTWis controls and visuals from a remote location. The connection can be established either via wired or wireless network. The remote PC software package offers all features of the embedded application.

ReTWis lightweight and compact design is compatible with remote controlled robots.
