Russia will be able to reach the level of $50 billion annually in arms
exports, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said.Russia could quadruple
its annual arms sales to $50 billion by 2020 in a race for the top spot
on the global arms exporters list. |

“Not counting
inflation, I think we could reach $50 billion for export of military
equipment and weapons annually by 2020,” Deputy Prime Minister
Dmitry Rogozin told reporters in Moscow. “It is four times the
current amount.” The agreement between Russia and NATO on the joint destruction of ammunition was reached in December in Brussels. |
