At Eurosatory 2014, General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS), in
partnership with the Dutch companies, widens its wheeled vehicles product
portfolio by adding Light Tactical Vehicles in a weight class less than
5 tons and unveils the AATV (All-Transportable Tactical Vehicle) family
of vehicles. |

At Eurosatory 2014, GDELS has displayed the Special Forces variant which is especially designed to response to the new requests of military and police forces. The ATTV platform are enough modular and versatile to span the full military and police mission spectrum, from daily in-country tasks to air assault and special operations, plus law enforcement and border patrol duties. Based on the geometry of Rally Raid vehicles, ATTV deliver utmost levels of all-terrain agility and velocity, unmatched payload, and rugged reliability. ATTV provides unmatched cross-country performance due to its racing suspension system stemming from Paris-Dakar Rally Car Engineering. The versatile central-chassis tunnel can be fitted with various bodies. High payload and unique design allow quick integration of protection kits. A .50 machine gun is operated from the top on a foldable ring-mount allowing internal transportation in medium helicopters and immediate combat readiness after landing. COTS mobility components give logistic commonalty on all wheels, and facilitate maintenance and repairs in the field. The ATTV is motorized with a Steyr M1600053-B 4-stroke Diesel engine coupled to an 6 speed automatic ZF transmission. The vehicle can run at maximum road speed of 170 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 1,200 km. |
