The
Belarus Defense Company "TETRAEDR" has confirmed the sale of
its Air Defense Missile System (ADMS) T38
Stilet to Azerbaijan. TETRAEDR is specialized in the in development
and manufacture of advanced radio-electronic weapon systems, development
and manufacture of hardware and software used in radar and radio electronic
control assets, upgrading of Air Defense Missile Systems. |

According
the newspaper website "ARMENPRESS", and referring to Azerbaijani
media, Igor Novikov, head of the department of the Belarusian company
"Tetraedr”, in a conversation with journalists said that two
"Stilet"
systems had been already delivered to Azerbaijan and the company now holds
a large order. The company also suspended cooperation with Kiev KB "Ray"
to develop a new anti-aircraft guided missile. "Two T38 Stilet air defense systems are already delivered to Azerbaijan, and now a large order is being made for that country," said Novikov, noting that they are ready to supply other countries with "Stilet" systems. The T38 Stilet is a short range air defence missile system designed and manufactured by the Belarus Company Tetraedr. The self-contained mobile T38 STILET Air Defense Missile System (ADMS) is designed to defend Army units, industrial and military installations from the strikes of all types of modern and advanced aerial attack assets flying nap-of-the earth, at low and medium altitudes and possessing the RCS of 0.03 m² and above. According to Tetraedr, the T38 Stilet wil have a maximum effective range of 20 km, and will be able to engage targets flying at speeds of up to 900 m/sec and heights ranging from 25 m to up 10,000 m. The T381 launcher unit vehicle is also equipped with the surveillance radar, guidance radar, two channel missile tracker and all optronic system. |
