Azerbaijan could be interested to purchase the PARS armoured produced by FNSS of Turkey 0702141.

APA reports that representatives of FNSS presented military vehicles in Baku for the representatives of Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

Azerbaijani officers of the armed forces were informed about Pars wheeled armoured combat vehicles, evacuation vehicles, engineering equipment, combat modules produced by FNSS.

Azerbaijan has showed many interests about the Pars armoured combat vehicles produced by FNSS in 2011. The presentation of Pars was held several times at the international exhibitions for former Defense Minister Safar Abiyev.

The company has also offered Azerbaijan to participate in the projects on the modernization of combat vehicles.

The Pars is an amphibious armoured personnel carrier family available in 6×6, and 8×8 variants, produced by the Company FNSS Defence Systems of Turkey.

The PARS can be fitted with a full range of weapons systems including manual ring mount machine gun station or remote weapon station with light or medium caliber weapons.

The hull of the PARS consists of a composite aluminium and steel armour that provides a protection for the crew and infantry against firing of small arms 7.62 mm armour-piercing attack through a full 360°. The vehicle is also protected against mines and IEDs threats.
