which is proving extremely popular with Navies and Coastguards worldwide. |

UK-based BCB International is a major exporter of cutting-edge technologies that would not be out of place in a James Bond movie. Their inflatable body armour system which automatically inflates within seconds of being immersed in water is attracting a high level of interest. BCB International’s Middle East Sales Manager, Stephen James, said: “We have seen in recent months a surge in the number of orders for inflatable body armour systems to be worn by navy and coastguard personnel throughout the world. The system provides a high degree of ballistic protection without impeding the wearer’s comfort and mobility. The life jacket is located under the body armour which means that it will inflate even when the body armour has been impacted by several rounds. “Navy and coastguard service personnel are out there protecting our coastal waters, but they also need protecting themselves. We are extremely proud that more navies and coastguards are turning to our inflatable body armour system to help them get on with their important work.” |
