AirShow China 2014, The Chinese Defense Company NORINCO launches its CS/LN1
Integrated Soldier Combat System. The CS/LN1 is an integrated fighting
system for individual infantry soldiers which gives the soldier enhanced
tactical awareness, lethality and survivability. |

CS/LN1 Integrated Soldier Combat System is targeted in improving integrated combat capability of soldiers, and enhancing the command and control coordinated operation, situational awareness, information management and sharing ability of the military unit. The system is composed of weapon system, information system, protection system, etc .., and is capable of armed, reconnaissance and observation /sighting, information processing and integrative management, unit net and communication, integrated transmission of voice/data/real-time dynamic image, integrated command and control, complex protection and carrying. The system is modular and tailored for the soldier's task and mission. The unit commander decides the components of CS/LN1 that will be deployed for a mission. The
CS/LN1 includes a load vest for carrying and interfacing with the sensors
and the computer. The CS/LN1 helmet provides ballistic protection and
carries the main components of the soldier's observation systems. The
front part of the helmet is fitted with a night vision monocular while
the right side is equipped with a day camera. With
that type of individual combat equipment, soldier has a modular combat
system integrated with all individual equipment, weapons, sighting systems,
radios that the soldier carries and uses, in order to increase his overall
effectiveness on the battlefield. |
