Leading Turkish company MKE brings out its BORA-12 sniper rifle.

The Bora-12 (JNG-90) is a manually operated sniper rifle with rotary bolt action and detachable box magazine. It is mounted onto aluminum chassis, with polymer pistol grip and fully adjustable butt. Buttstock, grip, bipod, buttspike, cheekpiece and trigger pull can be adjusted mechanically for high accuracy. Bullet feeding can be made by hand or magazine. Rifle can be used with silencer and subsonic ammunition. Bora-12 rifle has two type of safety, for trigger and mechanism, and its MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny Rails provide a standart interface for many optical systems, such as telescopic scope, night vision system, bipod vs.

For high shooting accuracy, the buttstock has special features as cheepkpiece, buttpad and buttspike. The Bora-12 has two type of barrel : 7.62x51 mm NATO and 7.62x51 mm Subsonic. The match grade free-floating barrel provides high accuracy (0.4 MOA). The bolt is manufactured from special steel alloy, and molykode lubrication is applied to bolts for high impact strength. the bolt can be field stripped without tools for cleaning. Magazine capacity is ten rounds, with two types of magazines : composite and metal. Bora-12's effective range is 1000 m, and bullet muzzle velocity reachs 860 m/s.
