Minotor-Service of Belarus presents new family of Mosquito tracked armoured vehicles at DSA 2014.
At DSA 2014, the Defense Services Asia Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Belarus Company Minotor-Service unveils a new family of tracked armoured vehicle, named Mosquito. This new range of vehicle is based on the 3T Mosquito which is now in service with the Belarus army.

The Mosquito family of vehicles was presented at DSA 2014 in three main variants, a 6 roadwheels tracked suspension, with open-top compartment, a 6 roadwheels tracked suspension with enclosed armoured compartment and a 7 roadwheels enclosed armoured compartment.

The Mosquito is a light tracked vehicle with the engine at the front, the crew compartment in the middle and a troop's/cargo area at the rear.

The hull of the Mosquito is protected against firing of small arms and shell splinters. The vehicle can be fitted with a full range weapon systems as machine gun, anti-tank or anti-aircraft missile systems.

The Mosquito vehicle is motorized with a 6-cylinder 4-stroke Diesel engine coupled to a an automatic gearbox with 6 forward and 1 reverse gears. The vehicle can run at a maximum speed of 80 km/hr with a maximum cruising range of 400 km.

The torsion bar suspension consists of each side of six or seven road roadwheels with the drive sprocket at the front, idler at the rear and track-return rollers.

The Mosquito is fully amphibious being propelled in the water by its tracks at a maximum speed of 5 km/h.

At DSA 2014, the Belarus has also presented a seven roadwheels variant in electronic warfare variant.
