Oshkosh Defense wins contract for upgrading US Army's MRAP All Terrain Vehicles
Oshkosh Defense LLC, a leading provider of tactical wheeled vehicles and life cycle sustainment services, was awarded a $32,329,430 contract for the upgrade and reset of 300 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) All Terrain Vehicles (M-ATV) of the US Army. Work will be performed at Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The Oshkosh Defense M-ATV navigates off-road terrain with advanced battle-proven technologies and mission-critical durability. Demonstrating varied mission capabilities – from surveillance and target acquisition to ambush and explosives protection – the M-ATV Standard Wheel Base variants are agile vehicles for response and support on the battlefield.

The Oshkosh M-ATV can be fitted with a variety of remote-controlled weapon stations. The M-ATV's Oshkosh roof mounted turret is capable of mounting either an M240 machine gun, a Mk 19 grenade launcher or, a BGM-71 TOW Anti-tank guided missile, all of which can be operated either from the turret or remotely inside the cabin.
