While
for the past three years, the exercise has been hosted by the Republic
of Croatia, this year, the Republic of Slovenia assumed the responsibility
for its organisation and the computer-assisted exercise led by the U.S.
European Command will among other things also test interoperability of
forces in Search and Rescue missions. It will include some 1000 participants
from eleven countries (Slovenia, Croatia and USA, as well as Albania,
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, FYROM, Hungary, Kosovo, Montenegro, and
the United Kingdom).
Prior to the latest war games, Slovenia hosted in June two multi-country military drills, which were organized to test international command under the auspices of the Multinational Land Force (MLF), and to train joint terminal attack controllers (JTAC). |
