as part of its strategy to introduce its portable manufacturing capabilities

Portable manufacturing is a process where STREIT Group brings armored vehicle manufacturing to the clients home country. The key benefits to this are not only in-country wealth generation and up-skilling of local workforce, but the opportunity for the end user to be involved in the design of vehicles to suit their exact and precise needs. STREIT Group also assists in using local on the ground manufacturing facilities to export to the local region - which returns revenue to the country. Chairman, Mr Guerman Goutorov, comments: “We see this region of the world as a strategic growth area for STREIT group. It is our full intention to introduce Portable Manufacturing process in Indonesia and throughout Asia by duplicating the successful format we have used in other strategic areas around the globe.” STREIT Group has an impressive array of vehicles to offer and in most cases can develop complete solutions to its clients. Its tried, tested and fully certified vehicles range from up-armoured SUV type vehicles, Cash-in-Transit vehicles, highly protected LAVs, MRAPs and 6x6 / 8x8 Tactical APCs. Portable maufacturing is particuarly successful for some of STREIT Group’s key product range. Spartan is the most adaptable Light Armored Vehicle / Swat vehicle available. Currently used by many police forces around the world, STREIT Group has produced and sold more than 2,600 of these vehicles. |

Cobra
is a powerful vehicle, with a highly protected design and excellent mobility,
in service with police and border control units. While Typhoon
is currently the best selling MRAP in the market place, utilised by ministries
and polices forces in more than 15 different countries around the world
- it has also impressively been a strong vehicle of choice by the United
Nations.
STREIT Group Chief Executive, Guerman Goutorov, says: “We are passionate about developing and building the world’s best armored vehicles, but to save lives of those on the front line we need to deliver on time, in the numbers needed, at an affordable price and with precise equipment. We are determined that no life should ever be lost because vehicles could not be delivered fast enough or in sufficient numbers. We also believe it is essential to provide protection at a price that everyone can afford. Portable manufacturing helps us to do this efficiently.” Looking forward to the Indodefence 2014 event, which takes place from 5th to 8th November, Guerman Goutorov says: “We would like to talk to people about our record for building vehicles faster than anyone else. We know that when customers need an armored vehicle, they need it fast - and STREIT Group is the manufacturer who can deliver. They will also find that our products are very competitively priced. And when it comes to saving lives, we can proudly say that that everyone who has ever been involved in an incident while travelling in a STREIT vehicle has survived the attack.” |
