Ukrainian army continues to fight Pro-Russian separatists in the cities of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk. | |||
The Ukrainian army continues to control the situation around Slovyansk.
The town is surrounded by block posts. There are still captured several
buildings: particularly, municipal council, municipal directions of the
Ministry of Interior of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine, city
court, ‘Ukrtelecom’ office and central post office. There
are still 27 barricades and block posts of separatists in the town. |

Ukraine’s
military attacked two checkpoints between the eastern cities of Kramatorsk
and Slovyansk overnight, destroying them and capturing three protesters,
one of whom was reportedly armed with a rocket-propelled grenade launcher. Ukraine's defense ministry said there were no casualties while the army took three insurgents captive, including one who was armed with a rocket-propelled grenade launcher. |
