A new big one from Streit Group unveiled at IDEX 2015: the Hunter 6x6
During a live demonstration held at IDEX 2015 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Streit Group unveils a new impressive armored vehicle: the Hunter 6x6 Armored Personnel Carrier. The chassis is based on a monocoque V-Hull compartment (for crew), engine are fixed separately from armored saloon.

Hunter is a custom made luxury 6x6 vehicle based on commercial chassis, with seating capacity for up to 8 passengers. The vehicle is designed for high mobility operations with an outstanding off road capacity. The vehicle interior can be fully customized to specific requirements with seating solutions designed around operation.

Hunter 6x6 is motorized by an OEM Ford V8 6.7L OHV which provides 300hp @ 2800rpm. Hunter has 6 + 2 seats with an mild steel armoring level capable to stop 9 mm bullets.

Hunter is 7.4 m long, 2.4 width and 2.3 high. Its fuel capacity is 144 liters of diesel. Suspension components are reinforced as necessary to compensate for additional weight of the vehicle

Hunter can be fitted with additional optional items like shackles, rear towing hook, fire extingushers, first aid kit and a sunroof! The armoring can be converted as per CEN level B6. An enhanced climate control system OEM for driver and commander and a separate system for crew compartment can be installed.
