The future SILA 750C UAV will be able to perform observation thanks to EO/IR equipment. It will have an operational range of up to 200 km and an endurance of 10 hours. This UAV will be able to be remotely controlled or to perform missions in complete autonomy. The UAV is intended to perform combat missions. Thanks to its two hardpoints, the new UAV can be fitted with two weapon pods, or with small guided bombs and missiles. At PARTNER 2015 exhibition, scale-models of the UAV were shown equipped with two "BR-7-57" pods which have capability to carry and launch up to eight 57 mm unguided rocket weapons. |
