At SOFINS 2015, the International conference and exhibition dedicated for the Special Forces Operation of the French Army, the French company Wildsteer presented its tactical knives dedicated to special forces and intervention units, developed in collaboration with French famous intervention group GIGN (National Gendarmerie Intervention Group).

Created in 2005, Wildsteer designs and manufactures outdoor knives in France. Its knives are renowned for their innovative character and durability. The Wildsteer tactical range is essentially made up of models developed in collaboration with specialized police units like the RAID, the DCPJ, the French Commandos, and army and air force intervention units. |

The WING-Tactic was designed with and for the GIGN with very high performance and controlled weight in mind. This knife has the best total length/weight/solidity balance of its knid of world. Kraton handle for easy use even with a glove. Two strap holes allow to add a safety lace. The patented wire-cutters is able to cut steel wire up to 2.5mm diameter, can be used as a saw by locking a tig saw blade at the opposite side of cutting tool or can be used as an auger. The "Special Forces" sheath allows any wearing position for civil or military use and with a very efficient retention system. The base sheath consists of: one ambidextrous rigid sheath in Polymers, one belt strap screwed on the rigid sheath. (vertical wearing) and one leg strap. Different configurations of the "FS" sheath are proposed. |
