Jordan secretly received Cobra helicopters from Israel to fight ISIS
Jordan has received an estimated fleet of 16 Bell Textron AH-1 Cobra attack helicopters from Israel under a secret deal, according to a US official’s statement to Reuters.

Washington approved the deal last year, under the effort to fight ISIS. Jordan received them without any further cost after their overhaul by the US. Israel had two squadrons of 30 Cobra helicopters but they were disbanded in 2000 and 2013 respectively, in favour of the Boeing AH-64 Apache.
