High performer and workhorse – as the founder of an entire segment, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has been leading the way since 1995 – with uncompromising operational reliability. The Sprinter is subject to ongoing development in the areas of reliability, quality, safety, flexibility, economy, sustainability and service. The optimised transmission reduces fuel consumption to as low as 6.7 l per 100 km, depending on the engine variant. The Sprinter offers efficiency, smooth running characteristics and ride comfort on a par with a passenger car. With optional manually engageable all-wheel drive and optional reduction gear, the Sprinter bears up to major challenges, even in adverse weather and road conditions. |

With a gross vehicle weight of five tonnes, a transporter with a two-man cab and a load capacity of three tonnes has been installed on the Sprinter chassis for personnel and loads. The 190 kW petrol engine complying with the Euro V standard assures the vehicle of the speed required in service. A metal floor, easily removable side boards all round and a weatherproof tarpaulin with four windows delimit eleven cubic metres of low-torsion load space in which twelve seats are accommodated. The door in the rear panel can be locked. The front axle has been adapted to operational requirements and the front bumper has been extended and reinforced. The exhibited vehicle is an example of an individual solution tailored to the customer's needs by Mercedes-Benz partners Oberaigner and Empl, realised on the flexible basis provided by the Sprinter. The result is a reliable and job-matched vehicle solution which benefits from the blanket coverage offered by the Mercedes-Benz service network for the purposes of maintenance, repair and the provision of replacement parts. |
